When the discussion of some of Christian Hip Hop’s best duos happens, BRM and BrodieDaVinci have to be in the convo.

BRM and BrodieDaVinci started this journey four years ago

The RRP North veterans set out to do three joint albums together. The first album ‘20 Seconds‘ was centered around a simple, yet vital topic. Stressing the importance of coming to Christ, the duo expressed the short amount of time we have left to accept Him.

On the second album ‘Overtime‘ the theme of the first project carried over.

BRM and BrodieDaVinci stressed the reality that, since the first album drop, God has given more time to accept Him. Hence the concept of playing in overtime. It’s a bonus period with the opportunity to secure victory.

And now for the finale…

There will come a time when, if you haven’t made the decision, the decision will be made for you. If you haven’t chosen to become His, it is GAME OVER.

The 11-song album moves into what happens post-game and is yet another example of how BRM and Brodie are able to execute a concept. Features on the project include Yvng 7, Joseph Madigan, DeLaCruz, and Lil Keet.

FiveTwenty Presents: RISE Collaboration with BRM & BrodieDaVinci

Life has a way of pulling us down and trying to stop us from reaching the pinnacle of God’s path for us.

It is in these moments where we discover who we are. Do we remain beaten, or do we RISE?

With the latest collaboration between Rapture Ready North artists BRM and BrodieDaVinci, that is exactly the moments that are put under the microscope. The duo partnered with Christian media platform FiveTwenty Collective to release the new single through the FiveTwenty Presents service.

FiveTwenty Presents offers artists the ability to partner with the platform on a music release.

It provides services such as graphic design, marketing, and promotion. As a part of the collaboration of the release of RISE, early access to the record will be available via FiveTwenty Collective’s Audiomack page beginning on Friday, August 5, 2022. The single will release across digital music providers the following week on August 12.

FiveTwenty Collective founder Eric N. Boston had this to say about the release of RISE, “When BRM reached out to me about partnering up on this release, there was no hesitation. He is a guy that we have built a great relationship with over the years. We respect his work ethic and skills as an artist. BRM and BrodieDaVinci have built something special at RRP North and I’m excited to come alongside of them for the drop of RISE. Hopefully this is just the first of many opportunities to work with these guys.”

“We all have stories, a testimony of where we come from,” explains BRM. “It might not always be a quick redemption story. It may be a roller coaster. But it’s time for us all to RISE!”

For BRM, it has been a rough couple of years.

The leader of Rapture Ready North always tries to put up a front that everything is good. But he is not.

All of the dying, political arguments, school shootings, family health, and his own anxiety have taken a toll. Including weird chest pains from time to time. It has been a lot for everyone and BRM is no different. On Got A Secret, he is here to go and tell! When these trials happen, isolating oneself is not a good option. Now is the time to share with everyone that he is not okay. For the video, that message is delivered from a padded room.

Why 40 for the album??

In June BRM turned 40 years old. Life has definitely been a journey. So many ups and down’s we all go through in life, BRM looked more into the number 40. He found that 40 generally symbolized a period of testing, trial, or probation in the Bible.

During Moses’ life he lived forty years in Egypt and forty years in the desert before God selected him to lead his people out of slavery. The children of Israel were punished by wandering the wilderness for 40 years. Sometimes in life BRM had been wandering. This album has some real honest and reflective songs on it. As always, BRM has some fun with the music, but the last couple of years he have found himself examining his purpose, checking his why, and seeking GOD even when things have been hard.

BRM and Rapture Ready Productions North present the Yea They Kids Cypher.

BRM’s son, aka Mr. Parakeet, may only be 11-years old, but the kid has talent.

He has been dropping music as of late and, on his newest release, he is showing that the kids of CHH need their place at the table.

Joining Mr. Parakeet are fellow adolescent emcees Eliana Marie, Lil Z Rios, and MJ. All of the artists are 11 and under. The principle is simple, yea they’re kids but that’s what Jesus wants us to be!

“I say to you, unless you change and become as little children, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven.”

God seeks child-like submissiveness, meekness, a gleeful heart, and faith.

Where to start? 2020 was quite a year.

There are the clearly obvious issues: the loss of Kobe Bryant, COVID-19, social issues, businesses closing, and families losing everything in the “Year of the Mask”. When you lay it all out, you see chaos. You may even lose a little hope.

Even so, these things worked in harmony as God continued to show His faithfulness.

In 2020, BrodieDaVinci experienced many of life’s monumental moments. He got engaged, became a father, and signed a record deal. Now he delivers his debut project for Rapture Ready Productions North, ‘Harmony’, on January 22, 2021.

“When looking back over the year and really thinking about God’s hand and where He showed up in all of this, it made me do some soul searching,” explains Brodie. “I became a new person this year. I developed characteristics and qualities that I never noticed in myself before. I became more giving, understanding, and patient. I like to think that God used every single part of 2020 in HARMONY to help me become the man that I am in this moment.”

Deep within Rapture Ready Production’s core, they believe that there is power in being different and unique.

Naturally, when they started to branch out and open up new opportunities, like Rapture Ready North, they looked for not just talented artists, but artists that are in a league of their own.

2020 has been an amazing year for RRP and today is another strategic step for the label in the areas of diversification and growth.

Brodie is not a newcomer to the CHH space. Due to the impact his ministry has had on the community, the positive effect has not gone unnoticed. On the music side, he has a long list of Tier-1 artists that he has worked with, including many from the RRP roster.

Brodie will be joining the RRP North division of the RRP brand, led by well-known CHH artist BRM. Brodie will become a key component of RRP’s growth into mainstream, faith-based entertainment in the northern region and beyond.

“Super excited for Brodie to join the team. We hit it off after a contest I threw out, which he won, and we really clicked and hit it off. He has a great heart, a tremendous artist who will fit right in with our vision and purpose.” says BRM, President of Rapture Ready North. CEO JDun stated, “Brodie is truly in a league of his own and we are so excited to have him join the ever-growing team here at the label. We believe with him being added to the team everything at RRP will be turned up to the next level.”

Brodie had this to say, “I’m blessed to now be a part of a family who not only will help me grow musically but spiritually as well. After doing features and collab projects, and getting to know some of the peeps on Rapture Ready, I know that God has his hand on this team!”
