In Matthew 5, I believe that Jesus lays out the Art of Being in which scholars and theologists have called the Beatitudes, which is 8 principles layed out by Christ on how to live and obtain blessing from God. In this week’s episode of the Not By Bread Alone Radio show, we break down these 8 principles much deeper, and encourage the listeners to excel in these 8 areas of their lives.

Secondly, we just so happen to air on Christmas Day, so we dare to ask the question, “Why the Nativity?”. We talk about the birth of Christ Jesus, and why it was so significant. We also, share some of our most cherished Christmas Day traditions, and much more.

Provided we all can agree that in this life, things come at us at lightning speed, how do we distinguish the blessings from the traps. Sounds like a simple enough question but in serving a God that turns negatives into positives and that allows us to go through the flames… but how do we really know? Is it a feeling? A voice? A theme that only He could have engineered? Or is it all in our heads? In this episode of the #NBBARadio Show, we will be discussing how to discern between the instances and circumstances that make up our human experience and where they originate from.

Secondly, we take a visit to the ever infamous Conspiracy Corner, and discuss the general consensus about the state of our government. We also talk about the concerns around mandated programs such as vaccinations, chemtrails, fluoride, and the presidential elections to name a few.

It seems that the church has always separated children from the adults during services, but the big question is WHY?. Aren’t we preparing the youth for the same world we are living in? We owe it to our children to show them as much as we know… so they can add to it …and then pass it on to our grandchildren…. even better than how we gave it to them. So I kinda makes you wonder … doesn’t it?

Secondly, Social Media seems to have everyone’s attention over the last 20 years, and it seems that society has embraced it, and figures the more the better. Does it take an outsider though, to interject some common sense and to encourage some boycotting or even abstinence from Social Media. It’s an interesting conversation.

When it comes to life, we all get Stimulated by something. When we think of stimulants, we think of drugs, coffee, sex, to name a few. Wouldn’t it be interesting though, if the things that stimulated us were direct reflections of our relationship with God. If the things we got excited for, had Kingdom benefits, if the things that Amped us up and gave us an adrenaline rush was being more like Jesus.

Secondly, we live in a life, where death is inevitable, and recently there was a Facebook post, where someone was debating the term “Rest in Peace” when Hugh Hefner died. Even though there’s a particular stance we should have about it as Christians, but why do we use this term so loosely, and even if God didn’t exist, which seems to be the whole point of this phrase in the first place, would this phrase even be necessary? We talk about this and so much more.

We’ve sometimes felt; like I’m sure most believers have, that it must have been so much easier to follow the Messiah back when He walked this earth. But is that truly accurate? On this week’s episode of the Not By Bread Alone Radio Show, we will examine some of the differences between faith in Yeshua’s time VS now in the Information Age.

Secondly, Trump, Trump, Trump. All we hear is Trump this, and Trump that. President Donald Trump seems to be all the news ever talks about these days. We talk about how the distractions of President Trump’s disturbing personality has created a smoke screen for a radical number of changes in our government and constitutional rights. We name a few and challenge you to research the rest, and much more.

Many know Marlon Marshall as the quiet, funny type. The type of guy that doesn’t speak unless he really has something to say, and when he does speak it’s because he’s weighed the understanding of the purpose of what he says against his morals and divine truth.

Others know Marlon Marshall as Nuisance Da Chosen, 1 half of Frontline Soldiers, a Christian Hip Hop Group out of Northern VA, that has dropped mixtape after mixtape since 2005. In 2014, Marlon Marshall signed the dotted line on a new registered venture entitled Blood Related Entertainment, and since Marlon Marshall has become the Owner/CEO of Blood Related Entertainment, you can address him simply as, Mr. Marshall.

Mr. Marshall drops his first solo album after a 15 year stint with Frontline Soldiers, and his first as a CEO entitled, “Rise & Become New”. On this album, you will hear Marlon’s story, his life of pain, a life of mistakes, a life of screw ups, and a life of redemption. Where he finds hope, how he measures truth, and what causes him to be the type of man that he has become.

There is much to indulge on with this album, with 18 tracks, you will find so much more than what you bargained for, and it will definitely end up on constant rotation, or your new go to album because of Mr. Marshall’s lyrical consistency and raspy delivery.
