Steven Malcolm debuts new video for Monster featuring LZ7

“Featuring an appearance by LZ7, who’s melodic vocals on the hook serve as the perfect compliment to Malcolm’s rhyme spill, the rapper reveals what lies beneath the exterior on this lively number.” – VIBE

The official video for Steven Malcolm’s hit Monster features footage from recent performances in the UK and Netherlands.

After releasing his landmark album ‘Tree‘ in 2022, the 5x GMA Dove Award nominee continues to position himself as a leading voice in faith-based hip-hop music.

“Monster” Visuals

Monster zips through scenes of Malcolm rapping passionately on and off stage.

His charisma grips viewers as he spits rhymes straight from heaven. Malcolm’s flows are fortified by LZ7’s poignant hook as fans rejoice to the magnetic vocals.

“Shoutout to the UK and Netherlands for showing me so much freaking love,” says Steven. “The energy and atmosphere overseas was amazing. This music video captures the spirit of my whole experience. I hope everyone enjoys it.”

The music video follows the audio release that landed on VIBE, Global Grind, and New Release Today’s New Music Friday lists.

“Steven Malcolm is not here to play games!” – Sparky

New Steven Malcolm Album

Monster will be featured on Malcolm’s forthcoming album. It serves as a rallying cry for those feeling conflicted.

Malcolm’s next album is scheduled for a fall 2023 release.

This first single sets the tone for a story of faith and triumph. He is known for creating faith-driven hip-hop that is as unique as his multicultural background. It’s a sound rooted in rap’s rhythmic delivery, pop’s modern melodies, and God’s word. The music is an eclectic depiction of Malcolm’s past, present, and future.

Following the success of ‘Tree’, the bar has been set high for the Michigan-based artist. Expectations for the next project are through the roof. If Monster is any indication, Steven Malcolm is fully prepared for the challenge.
