Sammie King | “Thank God” @Sammieking_Art

By Eric N. Boston @EricBoston3 | November 8, 2022

New York-based artist Sammie King released his second single of the year, Thank God making it a tribute to the holidays.

In this new record, Sammie pushes his faith to the forefront. Boldly professing his belief in God and crediting Him for his success.

“If it wasn’t for God I’d be in the streets” Sammie quotes in one of his lines.

He claims that he was homeless twice before the age of 18 and believes that God was looking out for him the entire time. Also on the record are Braelee & Fribble who both exemplify the message.

Releasing just two weeks before Thanksgiving, a holiday-themed music video dropped along with the single.

In the video, Sammie hosts a Friendsgiving, Thanksgiving amongst friends, at his house. There are definitely a couple of laughable moments. View the visual below!

Sammie King is a rapper/poet known for using his gifts and talents to spread positivity and inspire others. He uses his Christian faith and life experiences in a way that not only inspires and attracts young people but people of all ages.
