This last year many of us got to know the 19-year-old artist, AyeJae through his two projects “Huglife” & “HugSZN“
The fun, energetic artist was really starting to carve out a lane for himself until the end of 2018 when AyeJae was temporarily dropped from his affiliation with Panda Cafe.
Well, it’s 2019, and he’s back under a new name.
Ladies and gentlemen, we introduce to you JASXN!
AyeJae is no more, and the artist has now adopted his birth name as his moniker moving forward.
In 2017 JASXN and a few of his friends created the collective “Panda Cafe“. The vibe of the collective was very fun loving and carefree. However, now that they are getting older and maturing in kind, JASXN & the cafe artists are taking a more somber approach to their art. You can expect the new music from JASXN to be very introspective and has a darker vibe than previous albums.
JASXN wants for his fans to hold onto hope in God.
“There are better days to come. There always will be. It might not be today, it might not be tomorrow, but with strong faith and trust, things will get better.”
Hailing from Richmond, GA, JASXN is primed to bring a larger, more well-rounded dose of reality to his music in 2019.
Moving from making music about self to music that is focused on thanking God. We can expect the new music to have a healthy dose of hope, healing for the listeners with struggles, and pain.
With a trilogy of conceptual singles on the way, and an end-of-the-year project currently titled “Ceilings”, we can expect to receive some new music soon.
According to his Twitter page, JASXN is available for features and looks primed for a big 2019. Who would you like to see JASXN go to work with this year? Perhaps it is you… Hit him up now and show support for one of the culture’s bright up and comers!
