DJ LostNFound to Release Debut Album ‘Caesura’

By Eric N. Boston @EricBoston3 | September 6, 2020

Christian Hip Hop has seen an outcry for unity for some time now. On September 18, 2020, DJ LostNFound takes action to address the issue.

Featuring 26 indie artists and 6 producers, ‘Caesura’ (interruption or short pause) is an attempt to unify the genre.

“Caesura’ is my first attempt to curate, creatively direct, and independently A&R a project” explained DJ LostNFound. “It comes after an 11-year hiatus from producing and releasing music to the public. I’ve been given a gift and I’ll be using it to serve the Body.”

“I hope that, ‘Caesura’ will inspire more out of the box collaborations in CHH. I hope that we will learn to celebrate, but also tangibly invest in, one another; this will create a larger platform for our tribe – indie or major; Christian rappers and rappers who happen to be Christian will be accepted as ministers and entertainers alike; as the body of Christ, we will be willing to play our particularly crafted position to push this community forward, ultimately glorifying Christ.”

2020 has seen DJ LostNFound released three singles.

They give a glimpse of what to expect from ‘Caesura’ in regards to artist collaboration:

“Start It Up” features Shiwan and Jodie Jermaine, “Easy” a collaboration with Solomon Headen, and “Tunnel” includes indie artists Justcallmedt, Kamban, and J-Phish. Check them out on DJ LostNFound’s Spotify page here.
