Soul Shock

Soul Shock is a Colorado native but currently lives in Cheyenne, Wyoming.

He was raised in the church and was greatly influenced by Hip-Hop music. After graduating high school Matthew fell into a deep depression and ran away from God. Deciding to become like everyone else he completely lost his identity and everything he knew.

On December 15th, 2015 he recommitted his life to Jesus. In this process, Matthew was finding his passion for writing music. He wrote his first song called “Different” in 2015 and his second song “Alive” in 2016. They were followed by his third song called “That Aint Me”.

Soul Shock was born, and he’s learning the responsibility and the weight that comes with the ministry of being a Christian Hip-Hop artist.
